This historic train depot was built in 1916, when it was owned and operated by the Northern Pacific Railway Company. In the early part of the 20th century train travel began to fade in this region, and the building became relatively dormant for a number of years. Delaney & Company purchased the building in 1998 and began refurbishing it with the intention of creating a space that took full advantage of its unique character and historical significance.
Since opening in the renovated depot in 2000, Montana Ale Works has become known as “Bozeman’s favorite gathering place.” This ‘destination eatery’ continues to enjoy a reputation as one of the region’s most popular gathering places, thanks to superb service, inspired cuisine, and a vibrant atmosphere equally popular with families and friends. www.montanaaleworks.com
